Where do the Barrio Queen recipes come from?

Our Executive Chef, Julio Mata, specially curates the Barrio Queen menu to be as authentic as possible. Using inspiration from home cooked meals prepared by his own family in Sonora, Mexico, to new recipes from all 32 Mexican states, the Barrio Queen menu features authentic Mexican classics, as well as special dishes that change based on seasonal offerings. No matter if your customer chooses a classic dish or tries something new, they will be treated to a beautifully plated masterpiece of flavors.

Does Barrio Queen help me hire staff?

We lend our experience and expertise to franchise owners toward recruiting efforts. For legal reasons, however, we are not engaged in any direct hiring or termination of franchise staff members.
